Our Scout Oath includes the promise “…to help other people at all times.” Come join us on September 10 to Scout for Food for our Community Food Bank!  Scouts and Scouters will be going door to door within their assigned neighborhoods to collect food for the hungry. Our goal is to collect 15,000 lbs of food.

Reusable shopping bags and door tags will be available at the September Roundtable/Popcorn Kickoff starting at 6 pm and on Friday, September 2, at the Earl and Pat Cook Council Service Center from 10 to 6.  You are encouraged to begin hanging tags on doors in your area on September 3. The door tags will explain the project and let our neighbors know they can leave food on their doorstep the following Saturday for you to collect. The Food Bank will be open from noon to 4 pm to weigh the food your Unit collects.   You can pick up your patches there too. The Unit that collects the most will be rewarded with at $100 Gift Card! If you have any questions, please contact Tasmine Stebbins at 452-1976.
