The Eagle Scout Award. It’s Scouting’s highest rank and among its most familiar icons. Men who have earned it count it among their most treasured possessions. Those who missed it by a whisker remember exactly which requirement they didn’t complete. Americans from all walks of life know that being an Eagle Scout is a great honor, even if they don’t know just what the badge means.

To join the Midnight Sun Council Eagle Chapter there is just two requirements: live in the area served by the Council and be a Eagle Scout. It is not necessary for you to have earned your Eagle Scout in the Council or to be a registered member of the Boy Scouts of America. Dues are $15 dollars a year and with those dues you will receive a Eagle Scout Council shoulder patch as well as quarterly newsletters keeping you up to date with Scouting and new Eagle Scouts.

The objective of the Eagle Scout Chapter is to be a place of fellowship and memories as well as future adventure of brother Eagle Scouts. As members you will be asked to attend the Eagle Scout Banquet each February and attend the Alumni Weekend at Lost Lake Scout Camp. The chapter will also take on projects of their own making to help Scouts and to keep that part of the Eagle Scout Promise to always be helpful as the Eagle Rank was the beginning of a journey, not the end.
